Cap de Planes is a geographic feature between the municipalities of Mont-ras and Palamós, located facing the Formigues islands. To the south of the cape is the cove, which is 154 metres long by 30 metres wide with fine sand and a gentle slope into the sea, although the seabed is very rocky.

It is bounded by Cala Roca Bona to the right and Cala del Crit to the left, from which there is a beautiful panoramic view that includes Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and the Formigues islands. A fisherman’s hut is preserved here.

By car to “Platja de Castell” along a path  take the road from the C-255 road between Palamós and Palafrugell or on foot along the coastal path from La Fosca.

Then follow the path towards Palafrugell.
