PLATJA DE CASTELL

This is part of the 100 hectare area of natural interest at the mouth of the channel of the river Aubi. This emblematic and practically untouched beach is in a natural setting and is 300 metres long and 50 metres wide. It has fine sand and is surrounded by pines.

Around 200 metres from this beach, following the coast path that leads to Calella de Palafrugell, is the beautiful little Cala de la Foradada. If you follow this path along coast you reach other spectacular unspoilt beaches, such as Canyers, Sanià, Cala Estreta, Roca Bona, Cap de Planes and Cala del Crit.
